Before your first session, we conduct a free pre-assessment call to understand your needs and ensure we’re the right fit. In your first session, we’ll focus on building rapport, exploring what brought you to therapy, and discussing your goals.
Sessions typically last 50 minutes. The number of sessions varies depending on your goals and needs—some clients benefit from short-term therapy, while others prefer ongoing support.
Currently, we work with adults (18+). We plan to offer youth-focused services in the future.
We offer counselling in three formats:
In-Person: At a safe, comfortable location to be agreed with your chosen Counsellor.
Online: Via secure Microsoft Teams video calls.
Telephone: We call you at the agreed time.
Each method ensures confidentiality. Online and phone sessions offer flexibility but require you to secure your own private environment for safeguarding reasons.
Yes. Research shows online therapy can be just as effective. We use presence-centred listening, evidence-based techniques, and a strong therapeutic alliance to ensure impactful support regardless of format.
Choose a private, quiet space. Use headphones if possible. Have a stable internet connection or clear phone line. Let us know if you’re ever interrupted or feel unsafe, and we’ll pause or reschedule as needed.
We are committed to accessibility. Our in-person location offers reasonable physical access (please contact us to confirm specific needs). Online and telephone options are flexible and may be more accessible for some clients.
Start with a free pre-assessment call. If we’re a good fit, we’ll arrange your first session. Fees are transparent and discussed in advance. Each independent counsellor may set their own rates.
We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a fee, depending on the counsellor’s policy.
Yes. All sessions are confidential. However, we have a duty to break confidentiality if there’s risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or in safeguarding situations involving vulnerable adults or children.
It means we actively consider your cultural, racial, gender, and social identity in therapy. We don’t treat identity as separate from your mental health, it’s central to your lived experience.

We’re flexible. Employees can refer themselves privately, or sessions can be coordinated with HR.
Yes. We welcome practitioners who share our inclusive, person-centred values. You can have your own profile page and clients will contact you directly.
Yes. We require all counsellors to hold membership with a recognised professional body and adhere to ethical guidelines.
No. You remain an independent practitioner. Clients book and pay you directly. We simply offer a platform to amplify your work and reach aligned clients.
